.....We are a small, family run kennel. Dogs are the passion of our whole family, and we treat them like children. Guardian Team is a true home run kennel. Our dogs are not locked all day in cages, instead they live with us and sleep in bed with us. That's why they are well socialised, they are not aggressive or frightened. Our dogs are happy and react properly to different situations. Thus, we don't have any issues with our dogs, they are all part of the family and they all interact with each other (and with our cat). Each of our dogs is a friend and a protector of our whole family, and each is treated as such. We cannot imagine being separated from our dogs, hence we even take them on vacation with us.
.....We do not separate our puppies from their mothers, which allows them to teach the puppies how to behave. We use the technique of early neurological stimulation and we also use interactive toys to support the development of our babies. We let our females breast feed the puppies for as long as they think is necessary (at least till the 2nd moth of life). This allows them to grow healthy, supplied with antibodies, as it would happen in nature. Our puppies can be visited almost from the day of birth, as our females like people since they are bred in a family atmosphere and they are not afraid that something will happen to them.
.....Since we have a small family-based kennel, it is not hard for us to feed our dogs BARF (biologically approved raw food) diet. It's a diet based on natural feeding, hence our dogs don't suffer from any allergies, don't get sick and are full of energy. We put the health of our dogs first, and we test them for dysplasia and Ataxia. That way we can ensure that our puppies will not have problems walking and running, which is a passion of each amstaff.
.....During winter we take our dogs to town, which allows them to be well socialised with people as well as other dogs. However, in our country house they have a chance to run a lot, walk around the forest and socialised with other animals.
.....In case of any emergencies, vacations, or any unpredictable events when taking care of a dog can be an issue, we always welcome our kids back to our kennel. We have a large gated piece of land sprayed with tick repellent (3000 m2 of forest), little agility obstacle course, two small rivers nearby, and a large house with AC. We always have a place for one of our kids.
.....Furthermore, in case of any situation where taking care of an amstaff from our kennel becomes impossible, we will always take him/her back. Amstaffs like all dogs don't handle being in an animal shelter well and may not even survive it. Thus, we strongly encourage you to contact us in such situation. We won't ask questions, all we want to make sure of is that the dog is alright.
.....We also enjoy dog shows, where we meet other breeders and can enhance our cynological knowledge. Our dogs, like all amstaffs, enjoy a bit of dog show competition. And we enjoy when they win. We are extremely proud of their achievements:
